Who owns Reunion Resort?

Kingwood International Resorts owns and operates Reunion Resort and Golf Club. Residential properties located within Reunion Resort including vacant lots, condos, villas, townhouses, and single family homes are privately owned.

Can I live at Reunion Resort?

Yes, you can live full time at Reunion Resort. Reunion makes a great primary residence for those looking for resort style living a short driving distance from all of Orlando’s attractions.

Can I get mail in Reunion?

Yes. There are mailbox kiosks for each neighborhood in Reunion Resort and most packages are delivered to your doorstep.

How much do homes cost in Reunion Resort?

Can I rent my property at Reunion Resort? Are there any restrictions?

Reunion Resort has no rental restrictions. Properties at Reunion can be rented to either long term or short term tenants. Long terms tenants will typically lease a property for more than 6 months with the average length being for one year. Short term rentals have no minimum stay requirements unless otherwise set by the homeowners or property manager. Please note that proper licenses must be obtained from the county for renting your property to short term tenants.

Can I list my Reunion property on Airbnb?

Reunion Resort is zoned for short term rentals and homeowners can list their properties on Airbnb, VRBO or any other vacation rental resource. However, rental guests of Reunion Club members can only access Club amenities if their property is rented through one of Reunion’s preferred management companies.

Is the club membership mandatory at Reunion Resort?

Being a member of the club is not mandatory at Reunion. However, club amenities are only available to members and their guests. Memberships are tied to properties within the resort. Buyers of a property with an active membership will have 60 days post closing to join the club. If you do not join the club within that timeframe, the membership is forfeited and you will not be able to obtain one again in the future. Buyers of a Reunion property without a membership cannot obtain one after closing - adding value to those homeowners who do maintain an active club membership.

Can I transfer a club membership to another property I own at Reunion Resort?

Yes. An owner with multiple properties in Reunion can transfer a membership from one property to another for a $2,500 fee. Conditions apply.

What is a CDD?

A Community Development District (CDD) is a governmental unit created to serve the long-term specific needs of its community. Created pursuant to chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes, a CDD’s main powers are to plan, finance, construct, operate and maintain community-wide infrastructure and services specifically for the benefit of its residents. Reunion Resort is split into 2 sections for CDD purposes, Reunion West and Reunion East. CDD fees are included in your property taxes under non-ad valorem assessments.

How do you get around Reunion Resort?

Depending on where you own within the resort, some amenities could be within walking distance. There is parking at all amenities if you prefer or need to drive. LSV’s (low speed vehicles) and NEV’s (neighborhood electric vehicles) are allowed as long as they are titled and insured. There is also a neighborhood shuttle service available for club members and their guests.
